Gushue and Wilkes Join TCG All-Star Game Following Fan Vote Win
The votes have been counted, and the roster is set for next month’s TCG All-Star Game in Nashville.
Skip Brad Gushue and Matthew Dunstone along with Team Homan’s lead Sarah Wilkes and second Emma Miskew secured their places through a public vote, as reported by The Curling Group on Wednesday.
The quartet joins another eight curlers chosen by a judging panel according to their season-long performance.
The two-day event takes place on April 15-16 at Tee Line Nashville and will include a pro-am, a skills competition, and an All-Star skins game.
Tyler Tardi, the second for Team Koe—who has garnered attention online through his trick shot videos—has likewise received an invitation to participate in the skills competition.
The TCG All-Star event comes right after the AMJ Players' Championship, which is the fifth and last major competition of the curling season known as the Grand Slams, taking place from April 8-13 at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The All-Star Game will mark the first time an event organized by The Curling Group (TCG) takes place outside of Canada. TCG took over the Grand Slam of Curling in 2024 as part of their sports business ventures.
