Toyota Unveils Details for Its New Urban Cruiser SUV

Toyota has released details about its forthcoming Electric SUV, known as the Urban Cruiser.

The model will be available in three different trims and can be equipped with either a 49 kWh or a 61 kWh battery pack – though their respective electric ranges have yet to be disclosed at this point.

The base Icon trim includes the smaller battery option and boasts 18-inch alloy wheels, a 10.1-inch infotainment display, ambient lighting, and a rearview camera.

Upgrade to the Design trim for features like heated front seats and steering wheel, rear cabin air vents, and power-folding side mirrors.

The top-of-the-line Excel model features a bigger battery and adds amenities like 19-inch alloy wheels, a high-end JBL audio system, LED headlamps, and a expansive sunroof.

Each model includes a heat pump for both air conditioning and battery heating as standard features, designed to enhance performance in cooler environments.

In numerous markets outside of Japan, the Urban Cruiser will mark Toyota’s second offering as an electric vehicle, positioned beneath the more substantial bZ4X SUV within their range of models.

The prices have not been disclosed yet, however, pre-orders will open during the summer season with anticipated delivery starting in the last quarter of this year.
